The project is starting to take off, so I thought I’d add a page of the latest news, so that Participants can see what has been done and what isn’t available yet. The latest news will be on the top of the page.
Ladies Dress #4016 is now available! And the Blog is getting a facelift! Stay tuned for the new looks!
5/8/12-And the mailed pattern request has been completely redone and ALL patterns are now available by Mail, as PDFS and as PatternMaker files! We have almost 500 participants and all requests for downloaded patterns are going out within 1-2 days! Way to go team!
4/26/12-It’s been a busy couple of weeks! We are on page 76 of the June issue of Threads! And the pattern for the #219 Blouse is available! The blog is getting put in order and will soon be getting a facelift. You may notice things changing a bit, but we are growing and making things easier to find. There is now a specific page of Available Patterns! Lot’s of stuff added to the Sidebar, so be sure to check out the Printing and Taping Tutorial and the FAQ!.
4/16/12-The project has been revamped! If you haven’t seen it, go to I want to participate!, on the right sidebar or under Participants. Also now up are Job Descriptions for both the Instruction Editor and the Blog Editor. Again, both under Participants. Added a sentence that Download Pattern Requests take 3-5 business days to process.
4/10/12-The list of Participating Blogs has finally been updated!
4/4/12- Child’s Apron, #500 and Girl’s Dress #501 Added to Mail Order Patterns.
3/28/12-Gary felt so bad that some of the people had trouble with getting PatternMaker set up that he extended the demo for the entire year! The password for the page is the same password as for the Additional Mailed Pattern Request. If you don’t have it, contact Tina or Kim.
3/25/12-The Duster Coat – #0402 and The Ladies Traveling Suit – #1002 have been added to the Additional Mailed Pattern Request. Contact Tina or Kim for a User name and password! We currently have over 100 people that haven’t accepted their blog invitation and we are getting close to the wire with acceptances. If you haven’t accepted your blog invite, please create your WordPress account and accept it to remain in the project!

Locally we are hot into Titanic fever. Tonight I will attend a show by people in a degree program in costume studies. They have worked all year on 1912 costumes, and they always do an amazing job! Here is an article on the upcoming show. http://thechronicleherald.ca/artslife/84213-dal-students-take-on-titanic-fashion
