Here is my version of the traveling suit.  I ended up only doing the buttons on one side of the jacket (because it looked better on me, and I ran out of the right size buttons!)  I used a purchased belt.  I note that the sleeves are very narrow, so I make them (and the pattern in general) larger and shorter to fit myself.  I did not line it, just used self lining on the overlapping front.  I used a linen look stripe.
