I’m thinking about a fast way to make the tucks. Wondering if my antique tucking attachment is the best tool for this? Will run a few experiments this week to see if it will work. Sewers in 1912 had to try to make some shortcuts themselves. I think the neckline on the front especially of this pattern will maybe fit a dowel rod when it is tucked and finished. Will need to check that. Working on this makes me think of my grandmother who was under 5 feet and less than 100 pounds in her heyday. This probably would have fit her in its origianl size.
